Chris Levine is a U.K.-based artist known for his diverse practice in photography, performance, installation, fashion, music, and design, focusing on light and perception. He gained recognition for his intimate portraits of Queen Elizabeth, particularly "Lightness of Being" (2004), which features the monarch with her eyes closed. Levine's unique style often utilizes lightbox displays. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art and earned a Master’s in computer graphics from Central Saint Martins. His work has been exhibited in major cities like London, New York, Los Angeles, and Milan, achieving six-figure sales in the secondary market.
