Terry O'Neill

Terry O’Neill is celebrated for his candid photojournalistic portraits of iconic figures in creativity and politics, including Brigitte Bardot, The Beatles, Audrey Hepburn, Nelson Mandela, and Frank Sinatra. His work has appeared in prestigious publications like Life, Rolling Stone, and Vogue. O’Neill's deep connections with his subjects are evident in the intimate, snapshot-like quality of many photographs from the 1960s and 1970s. He describes himself as a reportage photographer who prefers to remain discreet, stating, “The more discrete you are, the better off you are.”
