Contemporary Art

and Post War

The Tate Ward Post-War and Contemporary Art department are dedicated art professionals and have many years of experience across the whole Post-War genre.

Our sales are based in East London and celebrate some of the leading artists active from 1945 to 1970, including Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol, Francis Bacon and Louise Bourgeois, as well as contemporary luminaries such as Peter Doig, Jeff Koons and Gerhard Richter.
Tate Ward are also dedicated to showcasing works by emerging artists which we hope will attract new and seasoned collectors alike. In addition to auctions, Tate Ward can organise selling exhibitions and Private Sales of paintings, drawings, photographs and installations by a wide range of artists and schools from early Abstract Expressionism through to the present day.
Our specialists are always available for free and confidential valuations of individual works or collections. Please get in touch to discuss buying or selling at auction, online or through Private Sale.
