Grayson Perry is known for his ceramic works that merge traditional pottery with modern themes, often featuring his feminine alter ego, "Claire." Beyond ceramics, he creates textiles, sculptures, and installations, and has authored graphic novels and hosted a TV program. His work explores gender, class, taste, and religion in contemporary UK society. A graduate of Portsmouth Polytechnic, Perry has become a key figure in contemporary art, with exhibitions in major cities like London, New York, and Paris. He won the Turner Prize in 2003.
