Art is not only my occupation but also my passion. I've spent many weekends and holidays walking around cities finding museums and art events to attend. I love Street Art and enjoy walking Street and Urban tours so the Tate Ward office is ideally located for me to take the odd extended lunch break and wander around with my camera and notepad in hand.
Prior to joining Tate Ward, I had four years previous experience in the Fine Art auction industry, spending two years as a sales coordinator for a Post-War and Design department which had multiple sales and a turnover of £600,000, followed by a year in the Urban and Contemporary Art department building four very successful sales, with a combined selling total in excess of £1.3 Million. I've catalogued and appraised works by major artists such as Banksy, Kaws, Invader, Jeff Koons, Gerhard Richter and many others. I hold an MA from Kingston University where I studied Art Market and Appraisal (Professional Practice) along with a BSc Hons from Liverpool John Moores University in Real Estate Management and Business.
